In one quick movement Wally leaned forward and kissed her on the nose. Artemis's eyes narrowed as she glared at him, slightly surprised behind her mask of anger.
"You're lucky green is my favorite color," she said, her anger softening into annoyance as she looked into his deep green eyes, "Cause otherwise you'd be in a lot of pain right now."
He grinned at her with his usual childlike smile. Then an ominous shadow seemed to stir behind his eyes.
"… I'm just glad you're okay…" he muttered, his expression becoming serious as he looked up at her through his eyelashes. Artemis's pre-made retort caught in her throat as she absorbed the look on his face. The way his gaze seemed to be looking into her, instead of past her, was so out of character for Wally that it took her a few moments to pull her thoughts back together.
"It was just a simulation Wally, it wasn't real. I was never in any danger…"
Minus the comma… she added in her head. He continued to stare at her with the same sad intensity. He had never looked at her like this before (let alone kissed her on the nose). Something was suddenly different between them. Like a slap to the face, Artemis quickly began to grasp what might have happened in the virtual reality once it had appeared that she was dead…
She raised her eyes back up to Wally's; the wall of sarcasm and annoyance that normally divided them had fallen away. He started to take a step closer to her and she began to lean towards him…
Suddenly Robin came trudging around the corner. He stopped abruptly when he saw them. On any other day he probably would have laughed at walking in on such a private moment, but today he stood rooted to the spot, his expression hidden behind his dark glasses. A moment of understanding seemed to pass between him and Wally, because without a word, Robin then turned on his heel and walked back the way he came. Wally watched him round the corner then returned his gaze to Artemis. Though his eyes were screaming with emotion, he said nothing; but raised his hand to brush a strand of hair out of her face. Then, before Artemis could react, Wally turned and was gone in a rush of wind as he sped away around the corner.

Just Perfect
Robin was sitting on the couch, watching TV when Wally dashed into the room.
"Have you seen Artemis? I can't find her. There's this letter Batman had me pick
up for her."
"Nope, sorry. Haven't seen your true love around much." Robin smirked at
Wally's glare. "Not since the- um, incident..." His smile faded as he looked away.
About one month ago, Artemis had arrived at her appartment to find her father
standing above the mangled corpse of her mother.
'I've got her!' Megan's thoughts exploded in the speedster's head.

Wally and Artemis :: The First Time
The door creaked open and with another giant sob and the sound of a long breath being exhaled, she made her way through her apartment with slow, shaky steps. Almost as soon as her bed was in sight, the blonde woman launched herself at it and collapsed on top of it, her shoulders shuddering as she gripped the velvety soft, violet blanket that she was sprawled out upon. Even its warm caress wasn't enough to ease her pain. Heck, nothing would be. More tears streamed down her face, running over the same place they had been going over for the last hour. A small whine escaped from her parted lips, the sound smooth and uninterrupted until she ran ou

Wally's Weak
WEAKNESSES, . Certain primal powers of Tyrant Woman wherewith she holds dominion over the male of her species, binding him to the service of her will and paralyzing his rebellious energies.
Wally West was a super hero. He could run faster than sound and was remarkably intelligent. He could also heal himself incredibly fast, too. He was no ones idea of a weak man. But by definition he was weak.
He was weak hearted, weak in the knees and had trouble breathing when it came to one very important thing. Her. Artemis Crock. She was strong, beautiful and had flawless aim. She was smart, just enough to challenge his every move. Any man would fall f
